Teamsters Local 986 has one of the largest jurisdiction areas in the construction industry that extends over seven counties in California. Construction work consists of natural gas, oil and pipeline, underground (Edison and telephone), water, paving and sewer. All work is covered under the Southern California Master Labor Agreement which provides for excellent wages, health and welfare and pension benefits. Out of Work List Please contact the local union office to be put on the "Out of Work" list on the first workday of the month at 626-350-9860 at extension 131. Members must call between 7:00am-3:00pm on the first workday of the month to register and be retained on the list.
