Building Material & Construction Teamsters
Teamsters Local 986 proudly represents one of the largest jurisdiction areas in the construction industry, covering seven counties across California. Our construction work includes, Natural gas projects, Oil and pipeline projects, Underground utilities (Edison and telephone), Water systems, Paving and sewer systems.
All work is governed under the Southern California Master Labor Agreement, which ensures, excellent wages, comprehensive health and welfare coverage, and Secure pension benefits.
Out of Work List
To be placed on the "Out of Work" list, members must contact the local union office on the first workday of each month between:

Training is available to all construction members who are in good standing with the local union. All applications can be obtained at the local union or mailed to your home address upon request.
