RE: New Spouse Life Benefit Effective April 1, 2026

As a result of the strong financial condition of the Teamsters Life with Dues Benefit Plan (“Trust”) the Board of Trustees are pleased to announce a new $2,000 Spouse Life Benefit, effective April 1, 2026, at no additional cost.

The new Spouse Life Benefit is payable to the member whose Spouse (as defined in the Plan Document) passes away on or after April 1, 2026. Members must be in good standing, but there is no beneficiary designation required for this benefit. The current premium that your Local contributes to the Trust will not increase with the addition of the Spouse Life Benefit.
